- Cute watch, but I've seen better. Maybe I should have gotten it in black. I think I would have liked it more in that color. Unfortunately, this is going back first thing tomorrow morning.

Audemars Piguet 1081 wrist watches news:
Yesterday I wrote a Christmas greeting mail to John and he kindly invited me onboard this great place.I live in Denmark and right now I have three Rolex watches in my collection - who knows what 2009 brings Allow me to post a single shot of each of my wathces:Explorer II, black dial Submariner, 16613 TTGMT Master IIc
Hi everyone. I would just like to randomly thank the entire Omega forum for all of their unknowing assistance with my purchase. I have read pretty much every post about the Seamaster 2254.50 over the past few days, as well as drooled over the photos of quite of few of your Seamasters as well. I apologize, I will clean the drool up from the forum. The two watches that it came down to were the 2254.50 and the Seamaster Aqua Terra. In the end, with the discontinuation of the 2254.50, I figured I should get that one while it was still around. I also followed which pictures I would stop at more frequently, which was the 2254.50.The black dial, the sword hands, and the "perfect" way it sits on so many of your wrists and the other variety of objects which seem to accompany the photos, made the decision so much easier for me. I promise to have a few photos up in a couple of days as well as not "lurking" so much. It won't be anywhere close to the quality of the photos that set me down this pat
The Illinois Viking is one of those watches that is so cool in real life it is hard to describe...The case is larger than most, and the Pattern on the bezel is incredibly interestingand very unique...(FJF) "The Illinois Watch Company Catalog of 1929-1930 described the Viking as "A new Illinois 3/0 size strap watch, very distinctive in appearance. Furnished in 14K white or yellow gold-filled, with the sturdy accurate 17 jewelIllinois movement, and a full luminous dial. Consumer price $42.50.""The 1931 Becken Book called the Viking "An attractive strap-watch - cased so exceptionallysmall that it appears more the size of a 6/0 watch." No way - the watch is huge! (FJF)Fred Friedberg also describes a similar interesting and novel molded bezel design also appears oncertain models of the Beau Brummel. They have a Viking-style bezel on a Beau Brummel size case. Hence they are called Beau Brummel's with Viking bezels.(The Illinois Watch- The Life and Times of a Great American Watch Company)I
I purchased a pre owned Breitling for Bentley A25363 about a month ago, and it has been giving me nothing but trouble. When I first received it, the chronograph start/stop pusher would not activate the 30 second chrono. I brought it to a local watchmaker, and he was able to fix this problem. However, when the watch is fully wound, it will not run for more than two days straight. I wind this watch everyday, and it still goes dead. My watchmaker says the movement looks clean, and he replaced the mainspring...I am clueless!!! Anybody know what may be causing this?Best,Brett
Hi guys - recently I began to question my CK2998. It really hasn¡¯t been getting any wrist time. Is a shame as I loved it, but I realised the reason was that it just didn¡¯t go with everything that I wore, to the extent it was lucky if it got 1 day a week. I¡¯m also fairly traditional at heart, and if I¡¯m honest am more comfortable with darker colours for watches (just me I¡¯m afraid). That said, I wanted to keep a speedy in the stable and preferred the case shape and size to the pro. So decided to try a FOIS on and bingo. Just what I am looking for. The case I like along with the alpha hands and other touches. Love the brown strap also and the good news is my bracelet purchased for the CK fits. It¡¯s as if it¡¯s the bits of both the pro and CK that I liked merged in one.Flipping watches is never a particularly profitable business, but I got a good deal on the FOIS and am pleased to have it. Obligatory wrist pic below!Cheers, steveSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
