Talking Watches Veteran And KISS Drummer Eric Singer Joins Jury For The 2015 Grand Prix d'Horlog
It's that time of the year again. The jury of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve – the world's most important horological awards – has been announced. Not only do we retain the illustrious Mr. Clymer, Goldberger, Dufour, Bacs, and more, but we also pick up a few new additions. The most notable of the new jury members is actually a HODINKEE alum – KISS drummer Eric Singer. In case you missed it, Mr. Singer sat for an episode of Talking Watches back in 2014 and it's clear the industry took note. You can see the entire video above and read about his collection here. Vintage bracelet questions - help!
I was doing my usual jaunt around town, stopping at some antique & watch shops. I came across an Omega "pie pan" Constellation from 1953 in all 18K solid gold. It was in mint + condition, in need of only a light surface cleaning (no major scratches, scuffs, or anything). Here's where I was thrown off: it has an 18K link bracelet from Gay Freres. The logo has a G - then an deer or ram's head - then an F. I thought they made some pieces for Rolex. Was this offered with the Constellation series? If it is accurate to the watch & period I just may make a trade. I would be swapping my Maurice LaCroix 18K Open Heart. We haven't worked out any details yet as I wanted to do some research first. I'm not jumping to give up the MLC, but if this Omega is the real deal I think I might do it. (the scrap value on the gold alone must be $3000!) The *bonus* is it has original box & papers! Both the dealer and I are meeting again next week and seeing if this is still in the cards

FC 44mm vs Trulli
I am working on updating my AP collection and have opportunity to trade FC 44mm and SOME cash for Trulli.I like my FC 44mm but its a bit too dark for me. Keeping it and adding Trulli doesn't make sense in my collection. I have to pick one of them. let's vote pleaseFC 44mm vs Trulli

Long Island ADs?
Hey I'm a relatively new member to the forum. Anyone know of any solid AD's in the Long Island/Metropolitan area? Seems like all of these places like Tourneau and London Jewelers are used to catering toward million dollar clients and don't want to give me the time of day.I am willing to venture out to NJ if need be. All recommendations are welcome just want to start a relationship with someone who will appreciate my money!!!Thanks for all of your help!!!
