Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 31385 wrist watches news:
Tag Heuer's marketing slogan is "Swiss Avant Garde..." Maybe I understand avant garde differently, but while a lot of Tag Heuer watches are really nice, I would not consider most of them to be avant garde. The term avant garde is one I use with particular frequency, and the concept is simple. The phrase itself is French for "advance guard" but the English analog does not translate really well. Basically, avant guard refers to edgy experimental things, art, or practices that push limits, and advance what ever genre they are in to new areas.Avant garde design pushes into previously untested or new areas. If I call a design avant garde, I am suggesting that while the design is new and uncommon, it works for the open-minded and appreciative viewer. In my own lexicom when discussing watches, avant garde is the opposite of 'conservative,' which I used to refer to a tried and tested design. So with having the concept of avant garde in mind, I wish to discuss the Temption CGK204, which is a dif
Last year, Zenith released the original Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane Grand Voyage, an exceptionally complex watch that puts a fus¨¦e and chain constant force mechanism and a unique Gravity Control module on full display. This year, Zenith is following up on that watch with a sequel, and this one adds ornate decoration and artistry to the mix in honor of Christopher Columbus, for whom the watch is named. There's a lot to take in here, so let's take a closer look at each component. 2 OF 5 The Grand Voyage?uses the same 45 mm case as last year's model, with a thickness that goes from 14.8 mm to 21.8 mm at the domed sapphire crystal. Unlike the original, the new Voyage II adds artistic?embellishments to both the dial side and the display back. The dial side is still largely a cavernous structure, allowing each of the movement components to remain visible. Around the back, there is a vivid portrayal illustrating Christopher Columbus' discovery of America in 1492. The ent
Anyone ever put the double ridged Omega sharkskin strap on their PO? I just got a good deal on a used one and hope it fits.
When someone on an internet watch site misappropriates (steals) a photo of a watch that YOU own and previously posted, and then uses the photo of YOUR watch as their avatar without even asking (and after acting as if it is a watch that they own, when they don't and never have)is it merely rude, or more? Maybe it's just me
So I pulled the trigger on a 15300 this week and the previous owner has a much smaller wrist than I and while it comes with all the links they are not on watch. I'm sure I will have to add the extra links and am wondering if its a do it yourself job or do I need to travel to ad. If it's a job I can do myself what tools do I need? Thanks in advance!
