- I was looking for a dressier watch. and this looked like it would fit the bill, but when I received it it looked too casual for my needs -- it was the stainless look that dressed it down. It is a beautiful watch at a good price if what you are looking for is a classy looking casual watch.

In an announcement dated 7 March 2012, Hamilton announced on their website a new model for 2012.The INTRA-MATICThe styling draws from it's models from the 60s. It measures just under 7mm high, with a choice of a 38mm or 42mm diameter case minus the crown. It will be powered by their 2892-2 movement.More details and specs will hopefully be released during the Basel expo.

5 years of waiting and wishing has come to an end!
I'm sure you've seen the recent post about me parting with several of the regulars in my rotation. Well, the reason for doing so came to fruition today! The story: I was on a flight to the Bahamas years ago when I saw the Vacheron Malte Grande series in one of the airline's magazines in the back of the seats. I was awestruck by them, and told my (now former) gf that I would own one of them one day. She rolled her eyes and went back to her book. Well, when I met Windy she knew about the "watch thing" right away and she was fine with it as long as I was okay with her "purse thing". Hey, works for me! Anyway, I actually handled a few other VC's over the years and as much as I liked them they just weren't the one. Today I got it:Sam got a kick out of the inner box - he says it's shaped like the new VC factory. He'll be getting the watch eventually for a once over, but he took a quick look and said it's fine and to wait to do anything until it needs servicing. I am really an ecst
