7 Rare Watches at Antiquorum’s 40th Anniversary Auction
Geneva-based Antiquorum Auctioneers turns 40 this year, and it is celebrating with an auction of ¡°Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces,¡± to be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, on Saturday, February 22. Among the highlights of the more than 250 timepieces on the block are a rare, steel Patek Philippe chronograph; a prototype Richard Mille tourbillon watch; and several vintage Rolexes. Doubtless the headliner of the auction is the Patek Philippe Ref. 5004A stainless-steel wristwatch (Lot 250), with a split-seconds chronograph function, made in a limited edition of only 50 pieces. ?Produced in 2011, this highly collectible timepiece also features a perpetual calendar with moon-phases, leap year, and 24-hour indication, and comes on a leather strap with a stainless-steel Patek Philippe deployant clasp. Today, Nomos announces an addition to their line of crisp, contemporary Bauhaus-inspired watches: the Metro 38 Datum. The changes are subtle, but they make for a clear delineation between the original Metro and this new version. Longines Master Collection vs. Baume & Mercier Watch
Hello everyone,I am new to this forum and need a little help on two watches. I am thinking of purchasing a Longines Master Collection L27144783 Retrograde or Baume & Mercier Classima Executive 8875 model. Next Patek: 5980 or 5164
Hi everyone, this is my first post here and I can't seem to make up my mind. I love sport watches as they are a majority of my collection which consists of a Rolex Sub, AP ROC, and PP: 5227j, 5712/1A, 5726a. Im also open to other suggestions as well but for now I'm just considering the 5980 white dial and the 5164. Thanks!
