- This is a nice watch to wear in the evening whereby people cannot tell how fake-looking the gold plate looks. It's nice and sparkly, but you cannot pass it off as a real gold watch.

Chopard Chopard 42306 wrist watches news:
Dear Learned membersI changed the rechargeable battery of Citizen Eco Drive SOLAR-TECH 180. It has movement of GN-4-S and other number is 7871.After replacing the MT 920 rechargeable battery, I kept the watch for several hours under a table lamp of 60 W incandescent bulb. Even after about 10 hours of under light, its not charging. When I pull the stem and keep it under light for few minutes and then i push the stem it works. However, after just keeping the watch for two minutes in full dark, it goes jumping two seconds stage.I looked at Citizen website, first of all there was no 7871 number on their site, but it does have 7861 which says full charge in 3.5 hours in sun light and 12 hours in cloudy day.Does any one have experience like that before? What do you suggest in this situation?Jaswant Kamboj
My wife bought me a Braun AW-10 wrist watch and I accidentally washed it - oddly enough it still works fine I have everything except the back fell off of it.I have wet everywhere for help even Braun, but no one says they have one. I have heard from people that some jewelers can get generic watch backs. Is this true? Does anyone know where I can get one. I really want to wear this watch but I do not have the back to it.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hello all,I've decided my next watch will be a Calatrava, and I'm about set on the 5296G sector dial, and recently found one pre-owned for sale. It's from 2006 and comes complete with certificate and box etc. Anyway, came up with a couple of questions if anyone can help or has advice.1) how much will a complete service and polish at PP cost, and how long will it take?2) has PP changed the movement (or case, dial etc.) since 2006 or would it be identical to a new model? 3) the watch has light scratches and has clearly been worn frequently, although nothing that shouldn't come out with a polish. What is a fair price? Thanks for any help!!
HiWhat % does US customs impose when bringing a watch back to the US?I plan on going overseas and buying at a duty free shop at the airport. What happens if I dont declare it upon arrival? How will they know. I once brought a panerai and didnt declare it. Maybe just got lucky? Thanks,Tom
Recently picked up a RG Daytona w/ choco dial and was curious about the history and mfg. of the alloy. Came across this short vid. My gosh, can Rolex make a powerful ad or what? https://.youtube/watch?v=KKgUzfwJplg
