- Arrived on time in excellent condition! I was very pleased with this watch. It was a few sizes too but great for the price. I love this watch. It's bold, stylish, and looks great on. I thought it was manly looking in the picture but it's very sexy on.

This 14k gold 1940's vintage Hamilton came with a 982 movement and a curved case.
Got this on Saturday in a sale for ?200.I'm very happy with it , i was concerned about the rubber strap when i researched the watch on the web and felt it cheapened the look of the watch but in real life with the watch in your hand the strap looks fantastic . I do prefer bracelets but the sale only had this watch and the version on the leather strap (which in real life felt cheap and flimsy) the black case is also very well done and is much lighter than my skyhawk but is just as well built. The watchface IS very busy but is VERY easy to readThe watch also sinc's EVERY time (as does my skyhawk - i'm in the East midlands (UK), also alarm is loud enough to wake me with no trouble. An extra bonus for my was the BLUE lume - i didnt realise this watch had blue lume and expected it to be green like my skyhawk. The lume is VERY strong and lasts all night (7-8 hours for me).I had been considering a nighthawk as my next watch but this watch feels to me like a nightskyhawk - the best of both world
I have a challenge for the superstar watchmakers that want to innovate. Seeing as it is time-change weekend...How about a mechanical watch that, in addition to having a perpetual calandar, automatically changes for daylight savings time twice a year. It would have a lever to engage/disengage, like a minute repeater, in case you were out of the US or in AZ or HI. Precisely at 2am it changes and you can see the hour hand (flyback, of course) change to the new hour.Of course, the Swiss watchmakers are going to dismiss me out of hand, but maybe some domestic guys like RGM or Bozeman can rise to the occasion. How hard could it be? Once you've got the perpetual calandar, an amazing feat in its own right, throw in a gear or two and their you are.
Hi guys,I was wondering something that most of you will most likely knowWhen i am winding my 114060(when it stopped) i see that it cost me about 17-25 turns to get it ''moving'' so the second-marker doesnt start walking directly when i'm doing so... is this normal?
