Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 24313 wrist watches news:
Ol' Ben Franklin has been having a big month. Not only has the founding father been revealed as secondary mascot of the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team, MeisterSinger have released a watch honoring his life. It may seem strange to US citizens that a German brand would create a watch in homage to a famous American, but Benjamin Franklin is highly thought of in Europe as well as in his native New World. The release of the MeisterSinger Benjamin Franklin watch remembers the man who made such good use of the time he had on this Earth.A frequent visitor to England, Franklin was friends with some very important people in the London area. He was reputedly a member of Sir Francis Dashwood's Hell-fire Club that met in the chalk caves of West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. There, they discussed politics, pretty girls, and where to find the best pint of English ale. Franklin had an interest for horology, which was further stoked by a 1770 visit to England, where he happened upon famous horologist J
A few days ago on July 23, 2014, Bremont admittedly botched the launch of what is an exciting new product for them - the Wright Flyer that watches-dealer covered here. What happened? Confused facts and efforts by who Bremont claims is a person with an agenda against the brand cast an unfortunate negative light on the release. In addition to the Bremont Wright Flyer being a limited edition timepiece done in collaboration with the Wright family (whose ancestors invented manned-flight in 1903), the Wright Flyer watch was to contain Bremont's first "in-house movement." Nothing about the Wright brothers or aviation relationship was at issue, but rather the details about the movement inside of the watch. Bremont not only left out necessary pricing information, but they also failed to mention crucial details about the origins and development partners of the the BWC/01 automatic movement that was signed "London."Bremont claims that someone was trying to sabotage the release. Ok Admins I have a questions for you. How do we regain the status level we had on the original board? I ask this because on the old board I was a senior member, with 4 stars and 319 posts.:) When I tried to logon on to this board with the same username as the old board it said I had to register, so I did but I did with the same user name. However now it shows me as a new member with just a couple of posts thus far. The old info didn't carry over to this board. Not that it really matters as far as keeping the old status but it would be nice since I have always been active on these boards.
