Accidents with your watch
Have you pals?Believe it or not even my sanitized approach to watchcare has resulted in a mishap or two. All hugely annoying especially my first really major one.It happened over three years ago when I had the black AT when it was then only about two weeks old too. I had driven one of the girls who work with me home when I noticed this car cruising slowly around the area. I had seen it before with the driver doing the same thing and stopping occasionally and so in the spirit of community support I decided to observe it, intently if I may add so the driver would know he was being watchedin case he was up to no good. Next I know, as I was about 40 feet from my door when I heard a crack!!! I had walked straight into a low wall with my left wrist and more precisely the AT, taking the brunt of the impact. SuperOcean Heritage Chrono LE Blue Dial
Picked this up after picking up the same LE with the silver dial on mesh bracelet a couple of weeks ago. Went with the Ocean Racer rubber strap with the Gun Stratus Blue dial for this one. The pics do not do the blue dial justice, it really pops and changes color in different lighting.

Just wondering, is the blue similiar to the blue in the Rolex white gold Sub?

Minute dial variations between Subs
As some of you may know, I recently had the chance to purchase a 114060 from an AD. So now that I have two 114060, I was looking at them both and noticed a very minute difference. I think it has been discussed before, but I'm sharing it in pics anyway.Super easy to miss. You probably won't catch it immediately. Easier when you zoom in. Here it is. Top - 2016 Submariner 114060Middle - 2017 Submariner 114060Bottom - 2016 Submariner 116610LVSo apart from just boldness of font, there also seems to be 300m and 300 m as well as ft variations. Always curious as to why this isn't standard across the range, and why so minute differences. Just to clarify - all three Subs are from local ADs here in Malaysia.
