- Beautiful watch. The face is so different and looks great. I just wish the body around the face was more decorative.

Baume & Mercier MOA10006 wrist watches news:
I would love to get one but, as always, $'s an issue when it comes these things. I do like bracelet watches, and blue faces, used would be o.k. too. Opinions?
I have searched high and low and haven't found any information about this watch. I haven't found any pictures of anything similar so I'm hoping someone here can help me. This was my father-in-law's watch and I believe he picked it up in the 70s. He was a Spanish banker and the day indicator is only in Spanish which I think is pretty unique. Any help identifying this watch will be greatly appreciated.
I am new to this site and Forum and am seeking information on a type of Gondolo pocket watch which I have never before seen.Above the small 'seconds' dial at (6 o'clock) is "Gondolo Chronometro", as one would expect on a 1920s Gondolo. The inside dustcase is engraved with the details of the Gondolo agency in Rio de Janeiro, along with the movement number, as normal. However, below the 12 position on the face (in the area where one would often find "Patek Philippe, Geneve"; the dial is made to show "Avelino Nobrega Soares". It is almost as if the authorized agent were "Avelino" instead of Gondolo. The name is done inthe same manner as one sees a Patek that was made for "Tiffany & Co.".Has anyone run across such a thing or have any historic reference to the Avelino name?Thank you for any assistance. Robert.
hi guys, do you know of any trusted resellers who carry ROO models that I can connect. Cant afford new, but am hoping to keep my eye on a gently used version....any help would be much appreciated.thanks
Updated Rootbeer GMT. A Rolex rep looked at a picture of my watches and stated one of my watches will be rereleased at Basel 2018. Except for my 1976 GMT Rootbeer my other watches are fairly modern .Who knows soon enough we will see
