Baume & Mercier 8085 wrist watches news:
The “hydromechanical horologists” of indie watch brand HYT were among the first-time exhibitors at this year’s SIHH in Geneva. After making a splash at recent Baselworlds with pioneering timepieces like the H1, H2, and H3, the brand headed by watch-industry veteran Vincent Perriard wowed the SIHH crowd with the new H2 Tradition ¡ª the first HYT to meld cutting-edge technology with horological classicism. The HYT H2 Tradition is the first HYT watch with such classical refinements as guilloch¨¦ finishes, delicately lacquered dials, black Roman numerals for the hours, and blued Breguet-style hands, but it retains the now-familiar HYT hydro-mechanical aesthetic thanks to the capillary around the dial’s periphery, filled with blue fluid that moves forward with the passing of the hours. The liquid is driven by two bellows positioned on either side of the 6 o’clock marker, a system developed for the original H2 watch in 2013. With the fluid in the capillary displayi
Can anyone tell me about this watch? It is signed Cartier 18K on the back (no screws). The movement is 17 jewel signed Cartier Swiss and the case number is 87803552. My camera is not the best. It has the following information in the back cover:121 Inside a small box18k 0.75087808552a box with a slash through it and the numbers 4 and 10 on either side of the slashand then a two service inscriptions one with the black marker over it.ThanksAny idea of value?
Hello folks!I've been loving my somewhat recently acquired 15400ST with white dial. I'd be lying if I said I didn't often think about the blue and black dial versions. However, I have no regrets. The three dials are all so awesome for different reasons, sometimes I feel the only way to relieve the doubt is to own them all lol!So movIng on, I'm considering adding an AP Diver and now I'm faced with the same decision. For some reason I'm very drawn to the white dial Diver, while I feel like the black dial is a little bit of a safer long term choice.Considering this Diver would accompany my 15400st as my only two APs, would it make sense to own two white dial watches? I'm really not sure what to do.Btw: part of the reason I like the white Diver too is that It'd only be a matter of time before a put it on a gray rubber strap, and IMO the gray would look a lot better with the white dial. I also think on a bracelet the white dial looks killer! Looks great on black too, but for some rea
Hey guys, I've been entertaining the thought of buying my first AP and I think the Rubberclad fits the bill just right. I just have one question though, are the arabic numerals white or white with a slightly green hue? I've been looking at several pictures, and most of them have this slight tinge of green (I know it's the lume), but a few pictures show the numerals as 100% white. So is it just a matter of low light conditions hence the greenish look or did AP change the lume paint when they updated the RC?***Pictures are borrowed from members here on TRF. I apologize for using them, I can edit my post if you wish***From DavidSW:From TRF member Willygallardo
Hello. If been reading about the Pam 380. Maybe I'll buy it in my next trip to Spain. After some discount and tax refund the price it's quite good. Now I only have two, Dssd and Explorer 2 42mm polar. In many forums and comments the people always say, nice 380, good Pam to start with this brand.... and some comments like this.I've had a 064 La Bomba 418 Madrid Edition and Pam 372. Together with Rolex (6) the brand that more watches i bought, but sold all the Pam's and still have two Rolex. What do you think about the 380? Looks simple, that's why any strap will look perfect. Any color any material. Or just for beginners. ..Cheers
