- This watch is really pretty, well made, expensive looking. Great feature - with the black and white leather straps. BLEM it is too darn for my 7 1/2 inch wrist. It looks wrong and I am not one to wear jewelry.

- Cannot rate durability because have not had it very long plus its a gift for Christmas. But everything else, was more than what I expected. The picture was not the greatest, but I thought well if I get it and don't like it I will send it back. I was really surprised when it got here, it was much much prettier than expected!!

Baume & Mercier MOA8338 wrist watches news:
As a watch lover, I have pretty much always been attracted to diving watches. It was not until recently, however, that I was actually able to dive. After a fantastic time in Grand Cayman learning to dive and becoming certified by Divetech at the Cobalt Coast dive resort, an entire new world of diving experiences has now opened up for me ¨C and the process further allowed me to truly appreciate the purpose of a good dive watch and the crucial role that telling the time plays in being a human underwater. This all started last year in 2014, as I approached one of my favorite Swiss sport watch brands ¨C?Oris?¨C?with an idea: ¡°How about we giveaway a trip where an watches-dealer reader goes with us to get their diving certification? We all talk about the purposes these high-end sports watches are meant to serve, so how about we actually go do some of them?¡± Oris, if you¡¯ll recall, was the clever brand that took me to Ambri, Switzerland, to test out the Oris Big Crown ProPilot Altimeter watch wh
Hello all,I dont post on this forum much, but I spend a good amount of time proweling on it. I dont know why, but I have always loved watches. My first "nice" watch was a Seiko Coutura Kinetic (which I still own). My second was a Tag Heuer Aquacer (which I have subsequently sold), my third was a Tag Heuer Carrera (currently for sale on ebay), my fourth was an Omega Speedmaster Professional (which I plan on always owning), and my fith was a Baume & Mercier Classima Executive (which I may always own...or replace with an IWC Portuguese one day). The other day I was walking down the street and saw the Omega Boutique in Seattle, so decided to stop in. I immediately fell in love with the Omega Seamaster AT 8500 caliber 42 mm diameter. It seemed to meet all my timepiece needs: versatility, in-house movement, display back, 42 diameter size, and simply just spot on craftmanship. After going home and reviewing my finances, I decided to take the plunge. So today I took a little bit longer of
Two years ago, I ordered some sapphire case backs for from German manufacturer Thomas Preik which I installed on my Rolex Daytona 116520, and on my Rolex Yacht-Master 16622. You can read about it in my article on Modifying and Upgrading Your Rolex by clicking here.Thomas has recently released a new design for his sapphire case backs, and he sent me one for review. The new case back now has the familiar grooved teeth design which is consistent with the stock Rolex stainless steel case back. Here's a photo of the new case back (left) next to the old design (right) so you can see the difference:
Hello all. . .I thought I would hop in and say hey. I lurk from time to time and even joined before the upgrade awhile back. I didn't get signed up again until just now!I go by Furdog, but my name is Aaron. I see a lot of fimiliar names here, so some already know me. . .sorry about that. . . .but, I look forward to meeting others.Oh. . .I thought I would send a special shout out to Foggy!!Also, thanks to Gerard (sarogem) for reminding me to re-register.
This thought on my mind. I can¡ät see how Rolex cannot bring this piece to life again in the coke bezel and Stainless steel. Leave the Pepsi as the White Gold exclusive. Can anyone imagine how many they would sell ? I also wonder if the bezel would be interchangeable with the Batman.
