HYT Skull Watch Is Cool, Does Not Indicate Minutes
HYT, the "Hydromechanical Horologists" offer a new watch model for 2015 with the HYT Skull ¨C coming in two versions. If you are a bit confused by how to read the brand's newest watch, then worry not, so was I. What you need to know is that the dial of the HYT Skull indicates the hours, seconds, and has a power reserve indicator. That's right, the HYT Skull has no need for minutes. What, are you in a rush or something? You've got a futuristic skull on your wrist!Skull watches aren't anything new, but this is among the first futuristic skull watches we've seen. It is interesting, rather limited, and cool, but my question is why HYT decided to create a skull-themed timepiece as their third watch. The HYT Skull is based on the original HYT H1 (hands-on here), which was later followed up with the even more high-end HYT H2 (hands-on here). Should there be a break in chapter ring of Speedmaster Moonwatch?
Should there be a break in the chapter ring of the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch? I was wondering if the ring is cracked or if there is a break that should be there? The watch is brand new. Please see pic attached. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Patek 5164R...thoughts?
Hey all,Overall, I like Patek's offerings so far for Basel 2016. I wanted to add a sporty Patek on rubber strap and I couldn't decide between the 5164 and 5167r. When Patek introduced the 5164r, I got pretty excited. Here are some pics from Watchcollectinglifestyle. The price is $51,000. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Both are absolutely beautiful, I can't decide which one I like more. I think I can look at both all day (which I do). Which one do you like?

Fake strap?
A few years ago when my uncle died I inherited a few bits and pieces including a 'Rolex' strap that was on an old Rotary watch. I can't post photos as I don't have enough posts to do that! I've done some Googling and similar straps seem to have more markings than mine. It's a stainless steel bracelet strap. The only markings on mine are the Rolex brand mark on the middle of the outside of the strap and 'Rolex Made In England Stainless Steel' on the reverse. There's also some kind of serial number on the lugs which looks like PD 874089 but it may be PO or P0 at the beginning. On the reverse of similar looking straps I've found online there are 2 larger Rolex brand marks. The fact it says 'made in England' seemed odd to me because anyone creating a fake would surely have it read 'Swiss Made'. Unless of course it's VERY OLD and was made prior to the company relocating to Geneva in 1919...which seems unlikely. Anyone any idea if it's just a piece of tat? :-) Thank you.
