Omega 2812.50.37 wrist watches news:
I recently inherited a Hamilton pocket watch. Best I can tell it's a 1950 model 992B 21jewel grade 974it seems to be gaining about 1min a day. I just found out I'm not been using the clutch lever when moving the hands when I set it, I hope that's not damaging to the watch.removing the rear bezel I see the speed adjustment screw, but I'm hesitant to adjust it as I don't know a lot about this watch.thoughts? (pointers to FAQs on this subject will be considered helpful responses, I just didn't see the answer to this question anywhere)thanks in advance.
Hi! My name is Ivan, and i have a few swis watches, longines, certina. My Grandfather and father were working in export import company in Yugoslavia, and they were importing swiss watches.I have some of them, but i do not know nothing about them. I have spare parts, and Longines and certina movments.I know that I have 1 Longines Flagship watch from 1961. and gold one Flagship, but I don't know nothing about my favorite watch with roman dial.My father told me that he got that watch as a gift from longines company on a Fair in Swicerland.I also have a gift pack, with knife, golden pin, and a key holder, I also have gold and silver shirt buttons with longines amblem. Please help me to find out about my watches!Tnx
I just picked up this Benrus automatic and I'm trying to identify it. I can't find anything on the net. Thanks. uploadfromtaptalk1344125638343.jpgSent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
I bought this new in the late 1980's but couldn't tell you exactly when. I do remember at the time that for me it was quite a large purchase, and I paid full MSRP. I don't know if I've done that again Also, the date is currently incorrect because I can't really see the date dial well enough to know if it's right, which I guess means it doesn't matter if it's right. To check it, I'd need to take a photo and look at it on the computer, which is far from practical. Also, the moon phase is probably incorrect - it is set by means of the small push button above the standard crown. The crown on the left side is for the 24 hour dial, which is set independently of the primary time. It seems like those subdials were much larger 20 years ago...
It's noon, so time for lunch! I apologize for being a dork, but I am quite smitten with my new Daytona!
