I recall some talk a while back that owners of the Speedy Pro were recommended by some sources to run down the power reserve of their watches. I believe the reason might have been to allow the various power bands/levels to be used.Apparently it's good to perform this at a frequency of a month or every few weeks. I'm not sure if it will actually affect the running of the watch if one doesn't. So, how many Speedy owners actually do this I wonder? Does this apply to automatics as well?Movement experts on the forum are cordially invited to share their views ;)Y'all have a nice day now palsZIN

I've seen some serious hunks of stainless steel tool watch around here, but these are the ones I wouldn't want to have thrown at my noggin.T-hunter's Ocean7:Seriously, look at the bezel, crown guards, and lug edges on that thing! If I were allowed one timepiece in a dodge-watch game I would be hard pressed to pass on this one. T has several watches that could be classified as tactical missiles if thrown by the right person. timesofplenty's Kobold:I can only imagine driving to the emergency room with this stuck in my skull. Those lugs should be registered as a lethal weapon. Donut's Panerai:The only thing keeping me from choosing this is I don't know if I could bring myself to use a watch like this as a projectile. looking to add an omega speedmaster to my collection..
Hi all..I have always expressed some interest to an Omega speedmaster, but its kinda difficult to find a preowned one in my country.. And with the new omega AD that opened up recently, I can get a chance of at least buying one brand new..However, please don't get me wrong, an SS speedmaster on bracelet retails here at around 7,5l.. Is that the going price? And what kind of a discount should I expect?I thought it should be more affordable comparing with a daytona per se, yet I found that they're only 2k difference.. Yet I've seen people here or someother plac¨¦s sells for around 2-3k preowned..So is that the going price for preowed speedmaster?One thing I have to admit, I'm not very familiar with speedmasters, as I think they have several different types.. But I'm just talking in genereal.. And oh - I really like the strap version..And last but not least, what type of speedmaster should I get? I think I would prefer a black dial with steel and black leather strap?Thanks for reading!
