- I had bought two of the colors and it was nice enough, but I didn't like that the links kinked, making it hard to lay the links flat in order to clasp it. My wrist is very and with all the extra links out, it was still too . Sent back

- I got this watch as a Christmas gift for my dad. He LOVED it! It is elegant. It has a nice weight to it (heavy). It keeps time well. The kinetic feature is a bonus!

Baume & Mercier MOA10062 wrist watches news:
WatchTime and noted watch collector and expert Jeff Kingston have teamed up again for the 2014 edition of the popular “Inside Basel.Geneva” series of collector events, kicking off September 5 in Chicago. Among the timepieces featured there by the core sponsor watch brands is the new Seiko Astron GPS Solar Chronograph, which made its debut at Baselworld 2014. The Seiko Astron GPS Solar Chronograph is the first version of the popular Astron GPS Solar with a chronograph function. Caliber 8X82 has GPS-controlled time and time-zone adjustment functions, like its predecessor. The new chronograph feature can time intervals up to six hours in length, accurate to 1/5 second. It is also easier to use than the earlier 7X52 caliber. Secondary functions, such as manual time-zone selection, can be activated through a new electronic setting function in the crown. The GPS time-setting function still works by a one-touch system: holding down a button for six seconds activates it.
........got this puppy back from my watch guy today, ....although this is a photo from when I got it.....and I took myself over to the catalogs and diligently scrolled through looking for a match ....and thought I had it in Adam.....but then I looked closer ....everything matched ....except the numbers arranigment .....Adam has them at 12, 3,6 and 9 whereas this one is evne numbers, 12, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 .......aarrggghhh....the case looks the same, the H and the Hamilton name placement, the sub dial second hand ......it is one of the only cushion -y shape of the 50s and 60s.....most of the square ones have straight lines.....and the band is close, but not exactly at least for the Adam that is .....did Hamilton ever use Spiedel bands ? whacha think?
In an endless sea of PANERAI SEs, it can sometimes be pretty hard to choose what your first SE may look like. Yes, I want that elusive 382 and while the pull of 368 remains strong, the only other in my wish list had been the Radiomir 449 ever since it was announced. What really surprised me was the relatively dull response to 449, contributed largely by the OP's strange marketing behavior [ release of 425 ]. While 425 is surely more eye-popping, it takes a little time on the wrist to actually appreciate the understated elegance of 449 with the cleanest dial conceivable and those mesmerizing blue hands. It took me a while to unbox this beauty .. I was in Hawaii when the watch landed and on return, was swamped with job interviews et al. So, all these weeks, the 449 just sat there as I sorted my life out. Fast forward a few weeks, life is good once more and I thought .. What The Heck !! Time to Unwrap and Wear The Heck Out of This One. With a 47mm Luminor, Submersible and Radiomir in
The friend that got me into Rolexes touted the absolute perfection of the product. Now, years hence, I have generally had good experiences with all my watches. Today, I discovered on my new SubC that the Rolex stamp on the inside of the clasp is very obviously heavy on one side of the logo and light on the other half. What have your experiences been with quality control?
I just realized that today's the 28th and tomorrow's the 1st (well it's already the 1st to a lot of you) so I'll have to reset the calendar on my watch. Just curious to know, when do you usually do the reset? Also, do you set the calendar to 31 and wait for it to change to 1 the next day, or do you just set it to 1 on the day of? I also read somewhere that you're not supposed to adjust the time between certain hours (~9 and 3 or something), not sure if this is true or not.
