Ebel 1216149 wrist watches news:
33mm with 18mm band. Yes, that's right, they are supposed to be ladies watches. But I have a very slender wrist! What do ya'll think?
Not that it really matters, but is there a difference between vintage and old?For instance, I have a watch that I bought in the late 1980's, and I'd have a hard time considering it vintage. Same with one I received as a gift in 1972, and one I bought in '95.So, is vintage versus old more about being made before a certain year, or is it more about being representative of the time in which it was made? I'm interested in starting a vintage collection, and to me that means I'd like to get watches from each decade of the 20th century that are identifiable as a style of its era.Maybe I just have a hard time considering something I received new as vintage, 'cause it makes me feel old...
have deliveries on this piece already started? seehttps://.watchlounge/hands-on...vintage-touch/why no love? isn't it somewhat the chrono-counterpart of the 5524G?
My AD is holding a 5711 White dial for a few days for me. I have a 5711 Blue on the way. I will probably have it this year. Overkill??????
Just a recap several weeks back i was offered a real nice Patek 5960 but to step up to the plate the Daytona had to go but with sellers remorse setting in before i'd given sold it, deep breath and let it go, but you now how it is once your're in new watch mode its only time!, so attempting sensibility my thoughts ran KEEP! the WG Daytona i honestly don't think you'd get a more unique dial and i love the fraction formations on mine and the smaller onyx 3-6-9 indices more in line with the other subtle markings rather than on the newer premium dials with the larger SQUARE markers IMHO. so i'm now looking at something in SS [and cheap being a relative term] as a daily wearer yes rolex make many with a few nice ones to come, maybe i'll regret it but at this time rolex leaves me sort of ho-hum! bored nor excited!, so to the forefront rose AP and Patek i'd all but picked up a RO 15300 when a offshore was offered by a unsolicitated PM after making enquiring post on AP in general on the forums,
