Baume et Mercier 8339 wrist watches news:
Today I had the misfortune to have removed the back from my Khaki Field Auto 34mm. To my surprise, I found the words "Hamilton China" under the back cover. It was placed on the watch in a place where most people would never look. I will never wear this watch again. I should have known that because the watch only said Swiss on the movement ( as seen through the case back ) that it could be non Swiss. What a disapointment. I did not expect this from Hamilton. So much for the American brand made in Switzerland. How terrible to find out my Hamilton is of CHINESE origin. I wonder how many other Hamiltons are just CHINESE cased watches.
My third Audemars Piguet watch has turned out to be my most exciting and enticing timepiece till date. After having own it a month, it is time for a review and a full DSLR shot coverage to do full justice to it’s beauty. In this review, most of the close-up shots were taken with a Nikon 5100DSLR fitted with a Nikkor 105mm microlens. Others were taken using my new Fuji X-100S 35mm camera. Overview Skeleton watches have existed in horological history for eons. The art of skeletonization calls for stripping away the watch’s dial to reveal the beauty of the movement. High end watch makers like Audemars Piguet goes a step further by also extensively decorating the movement. In this case, a galvanized anthracite finish is applied to the movement parts. The end result is one extremely beautiful timepiece that is more a work of art then a watch. The reference for this watch is 15305OR which comes in a RoseGold case and leather strap. There is also a 15305ST which is in stainless st
I have not posted in the Omega forum before now, and I probably raise a discussion item already discussed to death. :)I would like a modern Speedmaster Professional with a plain back (without the moon inscription) and no Professional on the dial.Like the watch that actually went to the moon? Will that ever happen?
am new to this site - so opinions would be superb!thoughts to selling IW503203 to invest in 5205r (black dial), 5130g or 5146g..
I don't have a Panerai in my collection.I've seen this discussed before but not sure there was ever a consensus. What's the one and only one to have?? I'd like to add just one and I would want whatever the most desired piece long term would be. There are so many variations and LEs, etc., that it makes my head spin and I end up just not buying one.Thoughts??
