Most Extreme Zenith Defy Extreme Yet! The Zenith Defy Xtreme Stealth Limited Edition Watch
There might have not been enough use of the word "extreme" in the title of this posting, but Zenith consistently abuses this moniker so I shall too. After the over abundance of the "extreme" label on most items a few years ago, I thought the extreme nature of product would subside. Apparently the marketing people at Zenith are unaware of the "extreme" faux-pas, or are serious as to the extreme nature of the watch, which it is.This new limited edition Zenith Defy Extreme Stealth is undeniably the sexiest thus far. The black materials with the matte red hands and registers on the face are simply too well done to be thrown in the pile of other red and black watches. What likely separates the red (on the Zenith Defy Extreme from other red colors on watches) is the application of the red on the hands and face. Questions for Mr. Hattori the President of Seiko Watch?
Greetings Seiko Fans,I've just received my itinerary for my upcoming trip to Japan, and it looks like I might have an opportunity to ask questions of Mr. Hattori the President of Seiko Watch. It's still up in the air a bit, depending on his schedule, but even he bows out, Takashi Wakuyama COO and Sr. Director of Seiko will be available.So what questions would you guys like me to ask? A couple that I plan on asking:Has the success of the new Spring Drive line met expectations? Have there been any lessons learned?What is the status of bringing some the Japan exclusive Seiko lines (Grand Seiko, Credor, etc.) to the US?Here's some of the places I'll be visiting durning my week in Japan:*SEIKO Institute of Horology*SEIKO Shiojiri Plant *SEIKO Shizukuishi Plant I anticipate it being a facinating trip!

Tips for removing a stuck pocketwatch bezel without crystal?
I have a 1911 Elgin pocketwatch that does not work. I have unscrewed the caseback with success but can not seem to get the bezel off in order to remove the movement. It is missing its crystal and is missing one of either the hour or minute hands (looks like the minute to me). Is there a trick to getting these off? I don't want to slip and mess up the hands, centerpost, etc. I might try removing the two hands first, but can't really get great traction on that outer ring without risking my hand pushing against the already-cracked dial. Thoughts? Is there a tool I could use?I'm pretty new here, otherwise I would post in the technical section.
