I am trying to get info on my Women's Rolex Perpetual DateJust I inherited. All gold 18k band. I specifically am wondering what the watch may go for on the market. Thanks for all your help.
I am currently deciding between a 5140 and 3940 as my first PP everyday watch. Looking at the offers, I have come across an earlyish - 1993 - version of the 3940, and some later examples made closer to the retirement of the 3940.I have not yet managed to get any sense of which of these is considered the more interesting amongst PP aficionados, is the more 'collectible', and is the more likely to hold its value. I obviously realise that there may be more mechanical uncertainties with an older watch (unless it has been PP maintained throughout its life) but would be grateful for any views on the more general questions.
I frequent a local pawnshop. Good people in there mostly. This was in a display today. It was the first time I ever put one on. It was a sweet moment about $7,000 over my budget. But it felt good. No pictures of it on. But there is the memory. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
