- I bought this watch for my elderly mother. She especially enjoys the feature which allows her to see what time it is even in low light.

Hey guys, I'm fairly new to this forum, though I'm more active over at WUS. Anyway, I'm looking to purchase my first AP. Particularly, one of the new 26470. As I haven't seen one in person and there are no dealers near me, I'm trying to choose based on photos. Basically I'm looking for one I can wear daily. My office is business casual so usually I'm wearing khakis and a button down shirt or polo in the summer months. I'm torn between the navy, the grey/black, and the safari. I've got a BLNR and the blue on it works fine so I'm leaning towards the navy. But the black on my Sub also works in any situation. I'm looking for opinions on which color you think would match the best with my daily attire and office setting plus a more casual setting on the weekends. Thanks
Hi there, I'm in a market for a white dial sporty yet feminine watch for me. As I was looking at the Omega's site, I found this watch. It looks very nice picture wise, just wondering if anyone has seen one IRL or better yet has one and would like to share some action pictures of it. Just a bit concern on the diamond marker (little white dot on the hour marker) if it's too showy/blingy and wondering how it looks in real life. Also, the black marker is it really black painted or is it made from some dark glassy material. I prefer the one w/ the leather strap but my understanding is when to buy a watch, always buy with a bracelet then get the leather strap leather. Thanks for reading..
I saw on IG patekonomics that our own patekaholic mentioned that a 5235 was recently passed in at a Sotheby's auction in HK (6th Oct)The low estimate was approx. USD 45k.Now this leads to the question where to from here?Lots of discussions about a connoisseurs watch, legibility, over supply etc but as an owner of the watch I love it. Reading the time is simple and if anything my only criticism would be it is hard to read the day and month. What does everyone think? Soon to be discontinued, new model coming, Patek flop or instant classic? For my take I love it and think that if Patek discontinue it (yes I hear the usual people saying that it won't happen) it will quickly be appreciated as a classic.Supply seems to be abundant now but the may be a function of initial problems and inventory issues.Anyway enough of what I think....let me know your thoughts?
So being new to the Patek world, I just love how the Aqua's 324 movement makes a noise, and rotor can actually be felt spinning.I find myself when wearing my Rolex, I still do the movement, until I remember that I am not wearing the Patek.I am losing it.
