- I absolutely love this watch. It is the perfect oversize watch and the color matches everything. The dial is even more beautiful in person. If you're in the market for a new watch, you really should look at this watch!

I found this ad in a 1948 Fortune magazine and scanned it to share. The quality of the scan is not as good as I would like, but the ad is cool anyway.
Russian 'Bullhead' Chronograph. The styling is certainly not for everyone, but if you like things a little 'different' like I do, it's a lot of fun. 43mm, Sapphire Crystal, Russian Movement #31681 beating @ 21,600. Hunter type case back opens to show Chronograph movement. Very luminous dial. One of 3 'Bullheads' I have from Volmax and love them all. Kurt
Hi everyone, I'm comsidering my first AP and was wondering what's the difference in these two David SW has for sale? Also, what do you recommend I trade towards it from my small collection? I'm definitely keeping my gold GMT, but not sure what else I should hold on to. How do APs wear? Does anyone have this particular model I'm interested in? I have a 7 inch wrist. Apologize for all the questions, but I want to be informed as much as possible before pulling the trigger. Watches are listed in my signature. Thanks, davidsw/product/audemars-...ak-offshore-6/davidsw/product/audemars-...re-panda-dial/
Hello, to date I have been just a Rolex and old pocket watch kind of guy. But, the Orange Planet Ocean really has my attention. The problem is I cannot figure out what is what. It seems there are two sizes. 42mm and 45.5mm. Then it seems like there is a new in house 8500 movement as opposed to an older 2500 or 2900(?) movement that may be an ETA. When I look on eBay, some of them have many bids and some no bids. On this forum the Planet Oceans seem to sell right away. I called a dealer some 75 miles from where I live and he said he has a new 8500 42mm for $4500. I probably have no interest in a new one. Especially at that price. So I seem to have done as much research as I can but still really have no clear idea as to what is out there and what I would be buying. Any enlightenment that some of you could give me on what seems a myriad of choices would be welcome.
