Bell Ross BR02 Steel wrist watches news:
Did anyone happen to see this?askmen/fashion/trends...x-watches.html
Hi all,I have a theory I'd like to try out on you. The GMTIIC and the classic GMTII are not the same watch and were never intended to be.GMTII lovers criticize the GMTIIC because in their view, it is a "flashy" watch, and now with the recent "dropped watch" thread, there will be more points of criticism. But what if Rolex never intended the IIc to be the "go anywhere, do anything" sort of watch that its predecessor was? What if they wanted it to be an upscale businessman's watch. Makes sense right? Businessmen travel, and thus would need the GMT function. If you are in a business suit you certainly aren't going to be participating in sports activities that could damage the watch.Make no mistake, the IIc is a great watch, and has many of the improvements enthusiasts have been calling for, but it is just a different watch than we are used to.In contrast, the GMTII, classic tool watch. Adventurer, traveler's watch. Tough as nails too. 904L steel and and aluminum insert (cheap to replace!)
Can anyone tell me what resale price do omegas get in the market?Consider that the condition of the watch is, lets say...untouched!!!Along with the leather case and its cards.
Hey guys,I'm a long time lurker, first time poster...I seem to have a problem. I'm addicted to 2 things in life1 is sneakers. That's not why I'm posting today. The other is watches. I tend to go back and forth between the twoLast year I bought 5 watches then took a break. This year I've bought 12 pairs of sneakers. And need to stop! I've been loving the Certina brand for a long time now but haven't made the jump on one yet. I had been looking at the DS Podium Big Size Quartz (because of price) but now my eye is on the new DS Podium Big Size GMT in silverI mean wow! ! !I'd think about switching it to a brown strap, but that's not the point. I want to know if anyone has this watch, has seen it in person, or is selling one! I am not very hopeful considering how little a presence Certina has in the US and UK but would be willing to buy overseas as well. Thoughts, opinions, comments welcome!
I am sorry if this has been posted about before. Just curious on everyone's thoughts. For a young man like me who has long lusted after Submariners and Luminors, when a watch comes around like the Black Bay or this PAM, at a reasonably affordable price it is extremely attractive. I really have a great desire to own a Panerai, and this one with a retail of $4,200 USD is very exciting when many can reach $10k+ easily. Now I understand this is not the same as a super fancy 47mm 1950s PAM with an in house movement. But after all, price cuts come with costs. At what cost though? On the positive, we have the always classic Panerai Luminor design. Painted dial, patina lume (which I like), blue base logo (which I also like), traditional crown guard. Other features some view as cons and this is where I am curious on your opinion. This would be the spring bars (although some of their 1950's models have them and the screw-ins can become loose with wear), one piece bezel and case (so I guess the be
