Bell & Ross BR03-92MLTRYCRM wrist watches news:
If you didn't get enough of the Bell & Ross BR01 Airborne you'll love the new Tourbillon Airborne. Check out some jewelry versions of it here. The skull in square shape adopts the BNB Concept made (from back when it was around) tourbillon movement used first in the Bell & Ross BR01 Tourbillon. The movement has a regulator style of telling the time, tourbillon, power reserve indicator and torque indicator. Check out the carbon fiber plates in the movement as seen on the back of the watch. Weird? Sure it is, but an interesting novelty from Bell & Ross, and limited to just 20 pieces - with a cost of $150,000 a pop.See my article on the Bell & Ross BR01 Tourbillon Airbone watch at Haute Living here. My seat of the pants view is most WTFers prefer automatic movements. Now that prices are rising on Swiss stuff, are you more inclined to go quartz? This isn't a particular issue for me since I've always enjoyed quartz watches.
A few recent threads have really got me thinking about something:Right now I have 6 Omegas, 1 JLC, 1 Tag, and 1 Panerai in my collection. I like my watches a lot (some more than others of course). But I can't help but think that buying some of them was a mistake. I do not look forward to wearing them as much as I should. However, since I have already bought them and cannot travel back and prevent myself from doing so, I feel like I am stuck with them. Not stuck in a bad way, but more in a neutral way. I simply don't want to have to sell them for so much less than I have paid for them.Anyone else know what I am talking about?I've noticed that a lot of you guys seems to have a good deal of turnover in your collections. How do you deal with the losses incurred when you sell watches?
Hey All,I absolutely LOVE watches, and spend a bit too much time each day scrolling through these forums and instagram. Every day I have an urge to add another watch to the collection, however I have seen that as the collection grows, my attachment to each timepiece lessens a bit. Whenever I have my Explorer 214270 on the wrist, I have the urge to become a one-watch guy, wearing this beauty daily for the next 30-40 years. Any successful one-watch Rolex owners out there with a story to tell? Cheers,GV
I'm drooooling at the possibility of a DD40 as my second and (if achieved) final Rolex for a loooong time.Poll question being: If you had the 116520(white dial), what would you reach for next?WG with Blue dial?ORRG with Olive dial?Rando third option being your suggestions! Yes I'm still banging this idea around in my head. The incoming is...definitely coming soon; but since I'm still waiting for the actual day I may as well torture the forum and bounce a little more off my favorite digital geek squad. Pics for good measure!
