Sales in the Patrizzi & Co June 15 auction reached nearly $3 million with 145 of the 233 lots sold. The top lot was a minute repeater by F.P. Journe, featuring Grande et Petite Sonnerie striking chimes, which sold for $400,000. An eight-day Cartier Mystery clock with platinum, rock crystal and diamonds made in the 1940s attained $280,000. Next week I am flying to Fla. to visit my father. This will be the first time I've done any extensive traveling since becoming a certified WIS. I am not sure which watch to bring, or how many, etc....How have you folks handled this dilemma (Which, by the way, is a good one to have!)?
