- Both the original watch and the replacement watch had defects that rendered the watch useless. The original watch arrived with the stem broken off the crown. The replacement watch LED function was inoperable.

Blancpain Blancpain 1234 wrist watches news:
After many months and yes, YEARS of searching and contemplating, I finally found and bought a Panerai Power Reserve model 171. Brand new from an authorized dealer, I was AMAZED to find a dealer who had it in stock. It had just arrived that day and would have gone quickly, so my timing was perfect. Best of all, since it was bought in the US Virgin Islands, no taxes of any kind. Yes, I paid retail ($8,500), but that was the full cost, out the door. Wore it back so I avoided customs charges. But even at the inflated prices here at the California Panerai dealers I'd visited, nobody had this model in stock so I count myself doubly lucky Couldn't be happier with this thing. Had it sized and it fits perfectly. While HUGE, it is made mostly of titanium so it isn't as massive as it looks. A bit challenging to wear with some of my formal shirts (cuffs too tight!), so I'll have to get my tailor to move the buttons on the right cuff of a bunch of shirts LOL.Great to finally get one of my two dream
After lots and lots of searching, finally found one of these gems! This marks my first (and certainly not last) Omega in the collection. This AT is a first gen 39.2mm model with a sunburst blue dial and co-axial 2500 movement. As much as I like the newer skyfall blue AT's, I find the sunburst blue dial very attractive and much cleaner looking without the vertical lines. It's pretty versatile and looks great on both the stainless bracelet and leather straps (Bas & Lokes strap in the 2nd picture).Anyways, thought I'd share a few pics of this beauty as I was on the search for some time.
This new silicon balance spring, along with the 8500, and four year warranty is freakin' awesome. Omega is definitely making a statement. Should Rolex be worried? One year since I picked this up and I wear it daily, a perfect modern Patek in my opinion. And I'm wondering if the other two pieces I'm interested in would get any wrist time, I'm waiting for a 5524G pilot and considering the new 5320G perpetual. Opinions? I'm thinking the Pilot for weekends but am having a hard time with when I'd wear the vintage looking perpetual. Do you guys think it would work as a daily with casual attire, jeans and a polo, my uniform?
Picked up some nice cufflinks recently to go with my LVc. Think they work nicely together.
