5131 G or J ?
I may have the opportunity to acquire a 5131. I normally don't ask this vs. that questions, but would you pick the G or J, and why? Being an european that moved to the US 10 years ago, I am leaning towards the J since that one shows the Americas an Europe. On the other hand, the colors on the map in the G looks somewhat nicer....I guess this a nice problem to have!! Any thoughts?

Maximilian Radio-Controlled Watch: Battery Changed; Now It Can't Set Itself
Three years ago I was delighted with my new Maximilian 50-series radio-controlled watch, which gets its time from the atomic clock in Colorado. Last week I had the battery changed, and since then, it doesn't receive the signal; after holding down the crown and getting all the hands to 12:00, when it's suppposed to wait for a signal, the watch starts up and just stops at some random time¡ªnot an even number of hours away, so it's not a time-zone difference. The manual-setting routine doesn't seem to work, either.The watch is out of warranty, and the place I bought it from, Long Island Watch, has no advice other than to send it to Germany. If it needs repairs, that might end up costing more than the watch itself (listed for $170 or so, got it on sale for c. $125); I contacted the manufacturer (POINTtec) says just to send it to them.So I'm dithering. Bronze Watches
So I just got into the whole watch collecting thing recently.And I am adding a bronze watch to my collection, it's on order coming in Q4 in 2012.But I saw someone with one on the other day, he was a stranger but I complemented him on it.He thanked me and said he was a watch collector having nearly 30 watches.They look so much better in real life.So if you own a bronze watch or have pictures of them any brand please post them.Here is what I have on orderi166.photobucket/albums/u.../M54bronze.jpg

Deployant clasps?
Pardon the noobish question but my Sea Gull M187s is on its way and I wanted to get a replacement leather band. What I wanted to know was can deployant clasps be added to standard leather bands? Or are bands bought with the clasp pre installed? Or even still, are bands sold that are specifically made to add a clasp to at a later time? Your answers are much appreciated!
