Hi, I've been observing this forum (and other omega forums) for about a year, but this is my first post.The first Omega watch I knew, and can recognize from 10 meters, is the Constellation (the new model). The ones Cindy Crawford promotes. I thought Constellation is THE Omega. However, since I started following omega forums, almost a year ago, I noticed most topics are about the Speedmaster and the Seamaster (specially planet ocean).. As if Omega only have these two lines ! Even at work, most people (maybe I'm exaggerating) wear Rolex Sub/GMT or Omega Speed/PO Now I'm about to make my first Omega move.. Usually I spend more that 12 hours a day at work or meeting clients. I need a watch that will fit in my life/work environment. I like the look of the Constellation and De Ville. I find them dressy/Casual, which suit my work/life style. However since no one mentioned them here in the forum (and other forums as well), I became reluctant ! Buying my first fine timepiece
Hello. I posted on this board about two years ago inquiring about buying a Rolex Submariner and agreed, after some advice from board users, that it was best to wait (I was 19 at the time, 21 now). Well, two years later, my financial situation is better and I am going to reward myself for getting into a good law school with my first nice wristwatch. My heart has always been with a black SS Rolex Submariner and so that is one.I am looking for any advice as I have never purchased anything like this before. My only watch is a Movado made from tungsten that was a high school graduation gift from my dad (may not impress watch aficianados but I really like it). An AD in Florida offered to discount 16% off of the retail price while I have found a nice used one from a reputable dealer for $4000 CDN (I'm from Canada). I want to keep this watch for the rest of my life and hopefully pass it on to my first born son if I have one.Any advice, no matter how generic, will be appreciated. Thanks for you

The contour or shape of your back.
Have you noticed that one watch back design might be more comfortable to wear than another?This design slides around on my wrist if it's not very tight.IMG_2703.jpgThis design seems to fit in the middle of my wrist and slides very little.IMG_2708.jpgI prefer to have a strap a little on the loose side.
