Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 42323 wrist watches news:
Sometimes you want something excessive and sporty; or perhaps something stunning and formal. Other times however you really want just something simple, elegant, and useful; but that doesnt look like a drugstore Timex (shudder). For those times there is the new Mido Jubilee. A nicely designed watch without a hint of pretention, that will never let you down.Mido has a ton of history, and is now part of the Swatch Group. The brand is more popular in Asia, but can be found in the states as well. One of the brands most popular watches is the Mido Commander series, which has an incredibly 1950's look that is somewhere between classy and avant-garde.Other than the somewhat confusing name "Jubilee," this watch is nicely done. The large open face is done in a cream color with an IWC-like font for the Arabic numerals. The thin bezel adds to the elegance and appearance of size, while the star of the dial is really the crisp dagger hands. The case itself is 42mm wide with 5 bars water resistance.T

In retrospect, I should have bought this one. It's Hamilton's first generation engraved Barrel case.
My brand new Seawolf stopped after a couple of days of not wearing it. I did the routine thing of manually winding it for 40 turns. To my surprise, when I pulled the crown to adjust the date and time, the cown pulled all the way out and separated from the case. I tried to put it back in and it smoothly went back in. Things seems to be working fine. The crown won't pull all the out anymore. Any experts here could tell me if there's damage internally. Do you guys know why and how this happened? I can't replicate the incident. Should I send it back to my AD and get it cheked or send it streight to Breitling? Thanks in advance for all your replies.
In theory at least, would a maxi case take on the appearance of an old style case, having endured 3 or 4 separate polishes at a Rolex service centre. Maybe even the old style chamfers would emerge as the case became regenerated and you'd end up 20 years down the line with a vintage watch case.
