Breguet 5817 wrist watches news:
To kick off August, we spend some time with the new Tudor Heritage Chronograph to see if it lives up to its hype. We also find out why another Tudor, the Pelagos, is the perfect ¡°one¡± watch; learn how one becomes a watchmaker; attempt to explain why watches cost what they do, and more.1. Memoirs of a Watchmaker: Coming of Age With HorologyHow does one begin to become a watchmaker? Well, apparently, it begins with really menial and mind-numbing tasks such as learning how to look through the loupe with both eyes open and learning to pick up tiny parts with tweezers without dropping and losing them. An interesting read or maybe a warning call for those who aspire to be a watchmaker.Source:?watches-dealer2. My First Grail Watch: Jeff HessMaybe it¡¯s just me, but whenever I meet like-minded watch enthusiasts, I always ask what¡¯s their grail watch. You know, that one watch that they lust over and desire far more than any others. I think it says a lot about what kind of person he or she is. My
Are there any known problems with the 44.25mm Speedmaster Automatic Co Axial Chronometer with 3 subdials and date at 6 with the NON In House movement? NOT the model with the 9300 movement. Is there a Valjoux/ETA in this watch? Thanks in advance for any replies. The model is shown in this video here:
Hi,I'm wondering if the black tachy bezel insert is exactly the same and interchangeable between the 3572.50 with hesalite and the 3573.50 with sapphire crystal?Anyone here know for sure? Thanks and Cheers!
Hi, I've been a long time lurker/reader & have learnt a lot from the forum.Thought it's about time I joined the forum.I'm a one watch guy. I currently have a Ceramic Sub that I bought brand new in early 2014. Lately I've been feeling I need a change and I'm being pulled towards an Explorer II 216570.A pre-owned dealer has offered a trade for my Sub + ¡ê400 from me for a full set mid-2017 Explorer II.Would this be considered a fair trade?Am I mad even considering letting the Sub go? One thing I feel I should add is that I no longer have the box and warranty card for my watch. We had a break in a few years back, the B and P were taken then.I hope I haven't broken any forum rules by asking this question.
I've searched TRF threads and can't find rumors, talk, or anything about a submariner in platinum. Any guesses or speculation why? If they ever did start making one, we would all have to wait in line behind Tom because he WOULD be the first to get it. I am pretty positive about that.
