Hi guysI finally went to my AD on Saturday afternoon to pick up my new Z Series "Pepsi" GMT. Pictures will follow most likely tomorrow, but in the meantime I have an early question.I set the watch to the atomic clock yesterday at 2PM (UK Time) and in less than the 24 hours it has gained 10 seconds which goes right over the cosc specs - should i be concerned at this point or should i hold fire and give it a few days as the watch is is its "breaking in period", because i'm not sure how long the watch has been sitting with my AD, because it was the last one on the company?Anyways, pictures will follow. This is a great timepiece with a wonderful history and I'm over the moon I managed to get hold of a brand new one with them being discontinued. My Sea Dweller now a familiar friend.

Waltham 1877 18s pocket watch - open face at 3?
So I just acquired a watch which will probably need a bit of work. It's a Waltham 18s 1877 model (I think!) but it's in an open-face Waltham coin silver case that has the crown at 3. I've been trying to figure out if the case was modified from a hunting case or if they made an open-face case with the crown at 3...As you can see, as is the watch is missing the end of the minute hand as well as one of the case screws for the movement on the back. I shall have to find some parts.. I used the NAWCC serial number database for Walthams to find out some more info like year mfd. (1883-84). The database says this S/N should have a hunting case.Any particular thoughts on this watch? Thanks!Andrew

So, I ordered this watch the day it was released at Basel.She just arrived. I was a bit concerned about having two Patek world timers but they are quite a bit different.I really like it a lot. I wouldn't mind it being a little bigger but that's just me.I'm even wearing it today!! Not sitting in the box!!Patek really does blue well!Pix in a second
