Breguet 3803ST/92/3W6 wrist watches news:
The Cartier and America exhibition covers the history of the House of Cartier from its early period as the ¡°king of jewelers and jeweler to kings¡± during the Belle Epoque through to the 1960s and 1970s, when Cartier supplied celebrities with jewels and luxury accessories. Derived mainly from the private Cartier Collection housed in Geneva, the more than 200 objects on display include jewelry of the Gilded Age and Art Deco periods, as well as freestanding works of arts such as the famous Mystery Clocks, and of course iconic Cartier personal timepieces The exhibition marks Cartier’s 100 years in the United States and it focuses on pieces worn by Americans, including a pair of rock crystal and diamond bracelets worn by Gloria Swanson in the movie Sunset Boulevard, Daisy Fellowes¡¯s ¡°Tutti Frutti¡± necklace, and an exotic panther brooch purchased by the Duchess of Windsor.Private lenders in the United States and France have contributed significant pieces to the exhibition. So today at work (BANK for Jim who does NOT read) LOL, it was quite a freakin' busy day.But 3 times, and this is the most I have, I DROOLED over a customer's watch! So, this was early into the day, this man, coming back from tennis, was wearing this: Then this other one is wearing my GRAIL!!! (pic stolen from a PB album) And last but not least: On a brown strap though...I mean come ON!!! I was freaking out:eek:So they all looked at mine, and they all said it was a gorgeous watch as well when I complimented them, but come onThat Patek, and my grail, IWC, I could not believe it...Both of them were very normal ppl, no maybach outside with a driver and 3 body guardsJust normal folks with a taste for high end watches...Oh well, I guess I represented the Omega community
Hey guys,Being an avid AP lover I'm starting to look out for a 15300or, black dial on alligator strap. In my opinion it's on of the most beautiful RO's.Since I became a member of different watchforums a few years ago I feel that we rarely see some wristshots of a 15300or. So, let's post some here... :)I have just started searching for one and I will take the necessary time until I find the perfect watch and seller! In the meantime show me some wristies :).Feel free to post your opinion on the 15300or as well!!! Thanks!Stijn
Hey everybody. I just wanted to start a small thread about a problem that I recently encountered, which I overcame with some good advice. Hopefully in sharing this, the choice will be clearer for everybody else!I took a trip to a local Omega AD simply to look at the models in person and make my mind up about which one would look best on me. For reference, my wrist is just under 7 inches. When looking at the two side by side, something about the larger/crystal really appealed to me on the 45mm. However, the salesperson told me to walk over to the mirror, and look at both on my wrist in two ways - with short sleeves and with my shirt cuff over part of the watch (to see how it would look during summer and winder respectively). After doing this it couldn't have been more obvious that the 42mm looked better! I saw this and was certain beyond a doubt that 42mm was the right size for me. I am relieved to have that part of the decision cleared up. I recommend this technique to anyone
