Breguet 3820TI/2/TW9 wrist watches news:
Long time no post!!! Hope all has been well-So i'm looking to potentially buy my fourth Rolex (I currently have a 1964 untouched 5513, a mid 2000's two tone 16613, and a 2010 white face 116520) and I have decided on getting a late production 16600 Sea-Dweller in mint condition as a daily driver. I have been struggling with finding a V series (Last production run of the 16600 and I read somewhere they only made 200) in mint condition. As they are rare and last production series, any I have seen are priced at or over 7k in mint condition and saw one sell BNIB for 8500.As a result I have started to consider the Z series as an alternative (second to last production run) which are more heavily produced and more availible in the marketplace at a better price.I recently found a Z series in what appears to be excellent condition (claims has never been polished), with box and papers, through a private seller who has of positive references on Rolexforums (both on the sell and buy side). So can't get my mind off the Speedmaster Pro.Am I out if my mind to consider the CK edition and the Moonphase edition? Or stick to standard Hesalite? Also been looking at Co-Axial edition too.Totally confuse here. This watch picking business is stressful :)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi,I thought I’d share my experience of how I managed to purchase a 5711 last August from my AD, waiting only 2 weeks...I’ve been a customer of my local AD for nearly 15 years, from my mid 20’s. Back then I bought my first watch; a Panerai 104. I then went on to purchase a Rolex Milgauss. And later on I purchased a Jaeger Geophysic. So, whilst I bought a few mid level watches, I wasn’t a big spender by their standards. Nonetheless I took the decision on each occasion to only go there.Over the years I built up a good relationship with the same gentlemen who served me every time I went in. The truth was I wasn’t doing this over the years to be “smart”. I was simply doing it as I liked having just one AD who knew me and gave excellent service.Last August I decided to go for my next watch. I walked in to the AD and asked about the Royal Oak 15202. As I half expected he told me this is a boutique edition only, so he couldn’t acquire it f
Scatola del Tempo OEMed watchwinders for Patek. But nowadays Patek is using a Chinese company for this matter.Any comments about this from Patek owners here online?
Why does there be to be so little excitement for this brand anymore. Outside of the hardcore devotees, it seems the brand is almost viewed negatively these days. Aftermarket prices, certainly reflecting the lack of interest.Would love to get some thoughts from the hardcore Panera lovers. I've always enjoyed these great timepieces.
