Breitling a1338012/g692-2cd wrist watches news:
I received my very first Omega on Wednesday and I have to say I'm very pleased with the way it looks, feels, etc. I have promised pictures but I haven't had a chance yet - hope to post soon.In any case, I am concerned about a couple of things (By the way, this is the Speedmaster 3573.50):1 - After watching a couple of videos and seeing some pictures, it seems that people receive the watch with three cards on the card holder. Mine only came with two (pictograms and international warranty). Which am I missing? Is this a big deal? I bought it from an AD, so maybe I am just over thinking this.2- This is the more concerning problem - the watch is running fast. In fact it's running about 1 sec faster per hour. This being my first manual-winding watch, I don't know if I am doing something wrong and I am unaware of it. I have been winding the watch every morning until I feel a bit of tension on the crown. What should I do about this? Should I return and ask for a new watch? Should I get it ser

What an outstanding Forum we have. We have the freedom to express our opinions even though they may be different than others and never be treated like kids on a playground when things get out of hand. It may be addressed, but never in a disrespectful way. That said, with those liberties comes some irritants that I would like to lay on the table in a respectful way. Here goes....Why is it that when someone mentions a Brand as an example or a "quip" that some react as though family is being picked on? The thread then turns OT by the comments that are about WHY the thread was made. Many are worded to shame or embarrass the posting member. And what is this...You come into "our" Forum and bash our Brand?I say these posts are more disturbing than the post they are commenting on. I say they are personally insulting..I say you don't like someone for what they post, push the ignore button. I say debate the content of the post on your solid facts ..I say your Brand Forum isn't your "turf" to prote
Are they better or worse than flat? Aesthetically I like them better, but are there any advantages to them such as strength or impact resistance. Uncoated they have a lot of glare issues but overall I would think the shape would lend itself to improved strength but I'm just not sure it's that's true.
Last week I got a 214270 Explorer and love it. After going through many watches, including the MKI short hand version, I feel I have finally landed on the watch that best suits me. I sold a few others and have always loved 36mm Datejusts, but never had the right one for me. I found a nice one, a silver tuxedo 116200 at Authenticwatches. They list many watches that they don't have but I thought they can come through on those indicated as in stock. I made the purchase. I called to double confirm. They specify overnight shipping. Today I am wondering where the tracking number is, and I call them; they put me on hold and say there was a mixup, the watch had just been sold before I ordered it, and they were hoping to get another one tomorrow. I cancelled, doubt they¡¯ll be able to do that.I was upset. But in the end, I think they did me a favor. I love the 214270 and don't want or need more confusion, or anything to interfere with my enjoyment of this watch. The DJ was similar to the one I a
