Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 20620 wrist watches news:
Just to see how a 44 MM. PAM with a Fiddy case looks on my wrist, I tried on the PAM 213 that my AD had in the window display. It's the rattrapante chrono. Could have bought it on the spot but it did not smile back at me since somehow I think that the chrono pusher destroy the great looks of the 1950 case. Also I don't care much for the tachymetre on the rehaut. The 44 MM case fit my wrist quite well, imho, and I just love the superdomed crystal. So I was put on the list for a PAM 233 (8 days GMT) instead. I hope I will like it when I see it in real life, but I think I will!
Okay, so I'm on my thrid winder now. The first was for two watches but I soon had like 12The second one was one of those Diplomats with real fake leather and real fake wood that winds 8 watches and holds 10 more. Looks nice, quiet, works well, lots of watches. But: slots are not wide enough for 24mm pre-v buckles and biggish watches stick out too high causing them to hid the transparent lid. So I stick something in between to keep the lid opened for an inch or two.Decided to try one of those B6 winders (als available as DIY kits) that have those nice self strechiung clamps for wider watches. Only room for six and not spares. Nine out of ten of my big watches fit in there and are held in place properly, even with the huge pre-v like on the Benarus. But, I have two watches left that will not fit because now the strap is too thick (5mm?) and it will not go between the clamp and the tube that spins the clamp/watch combo. Arrgh!!!!My big watches are the Steinhart Aviation GMT/Vintage on a t
Hi all - Haven't had the opportunity to hold in person the AP Diver SS (or any of the AP divers for that matter) - Can I get a brief explanation of the timing bezel. 1. It appears to me that it rotates internally, would that be correct?2. If that is the case is the crown at the 50 (10:00) Position controlling that function and is it a screw down crown - can it be manipulated while under water?3. Anyone have any real dive experience with this watch or is the consensus that you just don't go there with this piece. I DO dive with my Rolex Sub.Thanks!Brian

Hello,Is it possible to change a white dial at service to black or blue. If so do you know the aprox. cost for dial change incl. dial. What dial colour did the first series of the 15300 initially come with???The reason that I¡äm asking is that the white dial, which I do think looks great, usually is the cheapest to get on a Royal Oak 15300 on the second hand market. The problem is that I have a White dial Daytona that I would like to keep like that...if you know what I mean. Thanks and have a good day.//Fred
