Real Dexter Writwatch discover
Being a Dexter fan and a watch freek I was asking myshelf what watch Dexter in wearing in the show. Many people got it right about the brand TIMEX and the year seem right 1973 (could be from 1970 to 1974). But all were wrong about the model.Dexter watch is and Electric Timex ¡À 1973 with a Speidel Twist-O-Flex band.There is a lot of those watch on eBay to buy...but almost all come with the Day/calender dial, as of the one from dexter is a NO-date pale gold dial, silver case.It has a dome acrylic crytal and use a standard Timax type "A" battery..The watch itshelf run like a automatic movement and you hear the ticking, but it"s electric to run....very special to hear running with a loud mechanical ticking.For those who did not see the pictures taken from the show, i have included a few on another post for you to see and also somes picture of my actual watch on this post. ROO chrono 44MM time setting issue
hi, can any owners share whether they have this issue? when i'm done setting the time and press the crown back in, sometimes the minute hand wiggles and moves, thus not pinpoint to the correct intended minute.is this a fault or it's normal?thank you for any feedback

Anyone have any pics of the 499 and any thoughts on this piece are welcomed. Only wish it had the power reserve indicator as well. Thinking about getting one. Currently have BLNR and a black chronomat evolution with roman numerals. Looking for something white or silver to change things up a bit. Thanks

New member pleading for help on a 16713 Root Beer
Hello TRF!I am new to the forum but have been lurking for a very long time on TRF to build up my knowledge on watches. I am in my mid 20s and have finally saved up enough money, after meeting all my priorities, for a 16713 Root Beer. I will get the watch in the next few days and will be posting more pictures. I plan to give this to my father for his up coming birthday. He has been wanting a X serial (my birth year) Root Beer all his life but every time he had his chance to get the watch, he chose to spend the money on us. He is still holding on the 16713 Root Beer paper cut out I made for him when I was a kid so I know how much he wants that watch.In a few days I will finally get the watch. I am planning to get it to a watch maker who has a Rolex account to look at the watch. In the meantime, I am pleading the wise men of TRF for help and give me your opinions. The resolution of the pictures are not great and sometimes overblown, but please do your best to tell me if there are any re
