Swatch Canada Repair Story
So my Longines Moonphase was sick. I took it off the winder one day and it had stopped there was a screw rolling around in the bottom of the display back. As this is my go-to work watch, I missed it greatly. [Here's a pic. The loose screw isn't visible I didn't take any pics of the damage.]I took it to my AD, who said he would send it to Swatch. But then he remembered I work pretty close to the Swatch Canada offices. He said I'd likely get it taken care of quicker if I took the watch in directly. Boy was he right.I went there on a lunch break. It's nice office space. The waiting room has some leather chairs and a huge window into their workspace. Through it you can see the watchmakers at their high desks in their white lab coats. I pressed the ringer and a man came out to see me. Custom Bezel Inserts
I love my Ball Trainmaster Pulsemeter COSC so there are times when I don't want to wear it as it might get damaged. I have bought a cheaper second hand watch with a similar movement and made my own bezel insert.I have been looking for sources of custom made inserts but found a youtube video describing how to print water resistant vinyl stickers for cars on a normal printer. I bought some printable adhesive vinyl sheets and worked out the placement of each marker using the formula Angle=15x360/BPM for timing over 15 mins.I designed the insert on publisher and cut the insert out with a cutting compass from a craft store.The result is not perfect but the insert can be replaced easily when it wears out.I was wondering whether I would be able to obtain a proper custom made bezel insert at a reasonable price?

5110 or not?
Good day to all,As some of you have already given me very constructive feedbacks when I was purchasing the 3940s, I would like to have your opinion on adding or not the 5110.A quick recap, all my Pateks have the 240 movement. It is by pure coincidence (3738G, 5712/1A, 3940G, 3940J). I used to dislike the worldtime, finding the cluttered names of the cities in the world a little has-been (it reminded me of the walls at reception desks of hotels and offices in the 1970s/80s, with individual clocks showing the time in Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong etc). (Sorry I don't mean to offend anyone here).But over time, I start to get attracted to the dial design, the perfect shape of the casing, the perfect 37mm size, the perfect tapering of the alligator strap. And today, I must say that my position and opinion have changed. I have 2 offers, to acquire either a 5110R or 5110P. My 2 questions are (by the way, I have read most of the postings on the 5110 in this forum, which made me love this
