At this year’s Baselworld, Bell & Ross, a watch brand long associated with aviation, added to its Vintage collection¡¯s new Sport Heritage line of watches with a timepiece that pays homage to the 1960s – specifically, to Dassault Aviation’s famous Myst¨¨re-Falcon 20, the preeminent business jet of its time. Read about it in this article from my blog, Watch-Insider.In the 1960s, Dassault was already known for groundbreaking technology in designing and manufacturing fighter jets. During that era, the company applied that expertise to its development of a small, twin-engine, 10-seat business jet, called the Myst¨¨re 20. It made its maiden flight on the May 4, 1963 and immediately became a commercial success, becoming known as the Falcon. IS this seller selling authentic Seiko watches? I am just wondering because his prices are very cheap on Brand New Seiko's. What do you guys think? Is it safe to purchase one? Here is a link to one I am watching.cgi.ebay/............I will really appreciate any help you fellas can offer me.
A recent post (I'm too lazy to see where it was posted) mentioned the shipping and packing practices of a well known TV home shopping channel. This TV shopping channel sells a certain brand in great volume and there are numerous claims of watches being recieved in a state of disrepair.Often the excuse is "damaged in shipping" and I used to see that as a "lame " excuse for poor QC.I have gotten a goodly number of shipments from this TV shopping network and ,I must admit, that their idea of adequetally packing a watch for shipment is a nightmare,No packing or protection of any kind is attempted.Just throw the watch ,in it's regular box , place that unprotected in a box that has no room for extra packing and the only protection is the pillow it is on.No bubble wrap or any other protective packaging is ther save for a few promo materials.I am sure that this shoddy packing is responsible for , at least, some of the complaints. My few other on line purchases (Amazon and SAH) have been well p
I'm kind of disappointed; thought it'd have more moving part; it's cool nonetheless. Video will get darker as it was sunset time. Don't mind the tiny hair! Make sure to play it in HD! Enjoy. PS. not sure how to embed the vimeo video here. Any help is appreciated
Hello everyone here at TRF! Over the years I have been a huge fan of Patek. I own several pieces and always smile when one is on my wrist. Well, just this morning I noticed that something did not seem right with my Aquanaut. Upon closer investigation I noticed that the hour hand seemed to be misaligned. In other words, at the top of the hour when the minute hand was pointing directly north to the 12, the hour hand was slightly ahead of where it should be positioned. The picture attached to this post will better explain what I am speaking about. My first question is, how the he!! does this happen? To make matters worse, this piece was just serviced by the Henri Stern Watch Agency a little more than 2 years ago. I wouldn't expect this kind of malfunction so soon after a total overhaul service. Making matters worse, it is now out of the 1 year guarantee period that they offer on their work which means that I am likely going to be hit with another $1,800 service charge to get this c
