- My husband loves his new watch--I just need to find a longer watchband for it. He's a guy and the strap is too . But otherwise it's a beautiful watch that works great.

Breitling a1733010/i513-ss wrist watches news:
In the early summer of 2015, we sat down with Jaeger-LeCoultre to take a look at something special they wanted to show us. We were not able to take pictures at the time, but we did get some excellent hands-on time with the follow-up models to the "new" Geophysic collection that was introduced by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2014 (hands-on here). The Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic collection has now officially blossomed with a unique personality as well as a unique family of movements which is something not only new for Jaeger-LeCoultre, but represents a new value proposition for watch collectors. The first of the 2015 Geophysic watches is this Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second. To make a long story short, the new in-house made Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 770 automatic movement has a "true second" complication, which means that even though the movement is mechanical, the second hand "ticks." This is most traditionally known as a "deadbeat seconds" hands, but since the term "deadbeat" isn't exactly
Magnetism can change the rate on a mechanical watch. It can cause an otherwise normal watch to run fast or slow. A quick pass through a demagnetizer can be an instant cure for the problem. but how do watches get magnetized?A recent thread on a professional watchmaker¡¯s forum has discussed problems with watches during shipping. Shipped watches are sometimes returned for not performing properly and the problem has been found to be magnetism. What is it in the shipping procedure that causes this? Are they being magnetically scanned? Is it simply a pass near powerful conveyor motors that sometimes causes the problem? Most watches seem to survive the trip successfully, but some don¡¯t.Both Witschi and Greiner-Vibrograph (Swiss watch equipment manufacturers) make products that check magnetism. A watchmaker friend has recently purchased one of these testers and run some experiments. He has been able to magnetize watches with his cell phone. His experiments were prompted by a customer whose wat
looks like rolex owns a COSC plant from wiki:''Three laboratories now test the movements submitted by individual watch manufacturers to be granted chronometer status. They are in Biel/Bienne, Geneva and Le Locle. The Geneva and Biel laboratories are almost entirely devoted to testing Rolex movements.[citation needed] Although not all Rolex watches are chronometers, Breitling has claimed that since 2000 all of its production is COSC certified. Omega also has much of its production certified. Thus, based upon the movements used by Rolex, Breitling and Omega, the movement calibers that obtain most of the COSC certificates[citation needed] are the Rolex 3135[3] (since 1988) (and variants 3155, 3175, 3185, 4130) and 2235, the ETA 2892A2[4] (and variants) and Valjoux 7750,[5] each of which operates at 28,800 beats per hour.''
Here you go, enjoy :)
To this.....https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=561487As I posted before, I would do a follow up on feelings/observations, after slowing down, thinning the collection significantly, and rotation between two watches. I¡¯ve tried pretty much everything (as well as other brands), vintage, and every metal....exceptions:Milgauss, Cellini, Yacht Master, TOG, probably a few more I haven¡¯t thought of. *Yes, EVERYTHING IS GONE BUT THREE Findings...(for my tastes anyway)....1. PM has spoiled me...love the look and feel, and when I¡¯d put on my SS pieces, I usually couldn¡¯t wait to put my PM back on2. I COULD be a two watch guy, but 3 - 5 will probably be my comfort zone. I don¡¯t need a huge collection to be satisfied. Quality over quantity for me. 3. Love any Rolex blue. 4. After going back and forth a few times, YG will be in the collection. 5. I may add a SS back in at some point.....SO I WON¡¯T be the guy who says.... I¡¯m done But for now....pretty darn content! Anyway, just some TRF, light w
