Why Paul Newman dial?
On page 2 in MBHawaii's Daytona post I asked why it is refered to as the Paul Newman dial? I know who PN was and his relation to racing , but is it all contrasting sub dial Daytonas that are refered to as Paul Newmans? And why? A little history would be great, espically with some vintage Daytona pics. Thanks for any and all information in advance.

Gruen Day/Nite - Times of Plenty - Contest
Hi everyone,As most of you got to see, I was the fortunate recipient of an incredibly rare Gruen day/nite in mint condition. If you remember correctly, the crown was funny (YG) when I sent it out to my good friend Scott Allison (Owner of Forum Sponsor Times of Plenty). I've spent hours looking through Scott's collection and he is my only "favorite" seller on eBay. I own a Waltham Dive that was originally his, but I really wanted to share his true masterpiece - NOS period correct straps, with you all and get your opinions on which one would look best.Well, Scott was nice enough to fix my crown for me and is going to help me set up my first participating poll in WTF history. Thanks Scott! The goal of this thread is to limit down to one winner with the help of all you folks from WTF. Please cast a vote and tell me why you like it (if you so desire).
