I'm giving some thought to dipping my toe into the vintage Omega waters.....however, reading up on the vast amounts of fake and frankenwatches out there, I'm scared to death of messing up.So I'm trying to learn to spot such watches on auction sites......This particular one looks okay, but needing a new crystal....any thoughts?VINTAGE OMEGA "PIE PAN" CONSTELLATION CHRONOMETER !!! - eBay (item 290492900195 end time Oct-31-10 18:21:01 PDT)I hope this post is okay......Thanks for your help!Greg

Rolex datejust hands and dial won't glow in the dark.
For our 50th wedding anniversary my wife gifted me a classic 1984 Rolex oyster perpetual datejust . This is my first experience with a Rolex and I'm very pleased. However, The watch dial and hands do not glow in the dark. I believe the glow agent is tritium and has a half-life of 12 years.. Is there some way to "re-charge" or repair the tritium? Any advice or direction will be greatly appreciated.

Looking for a Rubber strap PP or AP for my next watch. Definitely PP or AP and definitely rubber. Also looking to spend only $15-$20K.I like the PP 5167 which was my leading candidate, but the more I look at the new AP SS Divers (15710), the more I am liking them (probably black over white, though both are nice).The thing I like about the AP divers compared to other ROO is they are only 42mm, as ROO 44mm is just a little bit big for me (but not too much though). I tried the AP 41mm 15400 and that size was fine. My wrist is 6.5 inches (about 16.5 cm).ConsiderationsSizing on my wristComfort on wristLook and finishCoolness factor - which turns more heads and gets more complimentsDoesn't have to dress up too much.Durability and resistance to scratchesAlso is aquanaut going to remain same style? 15710 is new this year, so I am less worried it will go out of style.Curious for feedback of anyone owning either or better yet anyone have both?Thanks

Always love the PAM but finally pulled the trigger last week. PAM233, K Series, GREEN DOT! Couldn't be happier and already on the slippery slope of acquiring differnet straps for everyday of the week! (That's what you're supposed to do right?????)Enough of the words and a few quick pics!P.S. A VERY STRONG endorsement of European Watch Company. They were super responsive and helpful, shipped the watch out overnight the same day I wired funds. If you're in the market for any higher end watch, definitely go check them out!
