FinallyMy"FIRST" PAM arrived this morning !
As I was hinting in my previous post just a few days ago - my first PAM was on its way. As always, when a watch is on its way to me¡­it is a sleepless night and last night was not any different. I was reading various Panerai forums, adding PAM98 web site to my hobbyist page, but when I turned the light off at 4AM I was still flipping and flopping for another ? hour. I woke up 3.5 hours later at 8and my first steps were to my PC where I checked the FedEx site immediately. When I saw:¡°On FedEx vehicle for delivery ¡° ¨C I knew that the waiting was almost over.Since this is my first ¡®new PAM¡¯ post, I will do the good ole¡¯ box opening pictorial:I was wearing my Daytona from previous day, but I knew it would come off soon ;) It was delivered at 9:30 this morning and I had literally less than 15 minutes to open it, check it out, and snap a few pictures just with my P & S camera, before I had to leave for my office. Warranty card for SD43
Hey folks- just trying to get some info as to why the one side of my warranty card for my SD43 looks a little bit different than others I¡¯ve seen for sale. Specifically, I¡¯ve seen ¡°97220¡± and ¡°black¡± appear below the model number on some of the other SD43s for sale. I¡¯m guessing this has to do with what country or area the watch was purchased from and are indicators for color of the dial and such.
