The Jaquet Droz Only Watch ’09, a unique Grande Seconde, combines a Grand Feu enamelled dial created using an 18th century technique with a case made of 21st century ¡°high tech¡± ceramic. This unique timepiece proudly displays a rare red dial – red being the color of Monaco, the home of Only Watch. Creating the red dial required all the know-how of the most skilled craftsmen. An ivory colored enamel dial needs about ten layers to achieve the right color, and each layer must be fired at 800¡ã. Black requires 15 layers and 15 firings, and blue 19. Red needs 22 layers. SMP Strap adjustment
Hi All,I have a SMP and wanted to get guidance on strap adjustment.Did a quick scan for an existing threads and whilst I saw a tutorial for strap changing, couldn't see one for link removal.I think my wrist is inbetween sizes .. watch was too loose, so had AD remove a half link. Now feels too tight occassionally (especially during warm days).Pretty sure I read here that 2 half-links are longer that a single full link - is that right?Also - I have a link removal tool from eBay - assume this is all I need, just need some beginners guide on how to use it properly.ThanksIan.

specification of Seiko v175 movement
looking for the technical data on this movement. the watch in question is SCC017. the watch has a solar movement and has a chronograph. I cant seem to find the movement in all of the known watch supply houses. I DID find the VD53 which is a seiko quartz movement with the date between 4 and 5. it looks similar however I need the specs on the V175 and maybe swap the VD53 for the V175. also is the a code for the V175 under another another model. or if someone knows where I can get the V175 movement.

5726 white dial w/ OEM leather strap
Hi forum!I like the 5726 nautilus annual calendar with white dial but prefer the OEM leather strap that comes with the grey dial version (metal bracelet can be constricting when weather and therefore wrist size changes). My AD tells me it's not possible to fit the OEM leather strap to the white dial 5726. Has anyone tried with success? Thank youGS
