Roger Dubuis Excalibur Table Ronde Watch Fulfills Your Arthurian Dreams
It was only a matter of time before the Roger Dubuis Excalibur watch connected itself a bit more with Arthurian legend. For 2013, the high-end Swiss watch brand and movement manufacture will produce a limited edition version of the Excalibur watch called the "Table Ronde." Somehow I feel that given the super Britishness of the concept, they would have forgone the French name and simply called it "The Round Table." As completely silly as this watch is, I still get a kick out of the concept. Well the AP bug has bitten, and it's getting ugly . First the Diver this week, and now another AP just ordered from my AD--just got off the phone. May not be what people are thinking from my earlier inquiry today.Here's a clue :In the BLACK THEMES of the night, the NAVY went on a PANDA SAFARI. They ran into a VOLCANO and noticed a lot of BEES hovering around something that looked like a RUBBER CLAD substance--no, it was more like a CARBON substance. With that they ran back to their boat not even noticing the SKELETON they just passed. Now the 'bad news'. Quote from AD AP Distribution in NYC does not have in stock so they are waiting on a shipment from Switzerland and it will be two weeks. But, I am willing to wait (oh man this is going to try my patience) for one so FRESH. 1 week, 6 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes left PS - Normally I would never post this early, but I can't contain myself--AP is dangerous :-)

Hey All,Recently came across an Speedy Broad Arrow Re issue 1957 on a local vintage watch dealer, tried it in the store and instantly fall in love with it (did not bought it at the store as they were asking too much). Don't really understand why a SpeedMaster is not in my collection in my early days of becoming a WIS is beyond me..:-sPicked this one up from a trusted dealer here in TRF, thanks Mr.W!Now I truly understand the allure of the SpeedMaster; classic design, rich history, iconic watch! It is hard to resist this beautiful timepiece from Omega!Enough talk..here are some pics, not great ones as I took them in the office with the Iphone and some photoshop tweaks.And yes..I have realized this Speedy should be 3594.50..not what it is on the electronic bean counter..silly me
