- This watch was just okay for me. The white was very pretty, but the whole watch just didn't look very good on my wrist. Had to send back.

- Great watch that looks just like the pictures. The rubberlike band is great for someone that doesn't like leather bands and/or has many metal band watched already. Great watch for the price.

Breitling AB011011-Q575BKLT wrist watches news:
I was watching this one (definitely not a bidder) and I knew it would fetch a good price. The auction just ended and it went for $5,655.55! This seller has some really rare/scarce watches and they seem to be commanding some premium prices from a quick look at completed auctions. I imagine someone here has some familiarity with them. I won't list the name so as not to violate any forum rules, but send me a PM if you want or need the name.Nice looking Cambridge - first one I've seen on the bay.
I finally got around to taking my 37 year old Timex electric to a watchmaker for an estimate. It will run with a new battery, but a battery only lasts a few months, and it loses about 4 hours per day while running. After opening it up, the watchmaker said he'd call me with an estimate on Monday, but he was guessing between $80 and $120.So here's the dilemma: The sentimental value of this watch is worth well more than $80 - $120, but is the sentimental value enhanced by the ability to wear it in my rotation? I know that's a question only I can answer, but I thought maybe some of you had both: watches with sentimental value that work well and you can wear and watches with sentimental value that don't function, and you can't wear. For those of you who do, does being able to wear it add to the satisfaction? Maybe I'll post a quick poll if I can remember how...Well, when I tried to add a poll, it said I waited too long to do so, so I'll just hear what comments people have based on the a
Hi All - If there is anyone that can help me identify this Royal Oak which was just offered to me. I cannot seem to find a serial number on the caseback in the attached pictures, nor can I find a similar caseback on any RO. I also find it interesting that the clasp is stainless while the rest of the watch and bracelet are gold, although I have seen this before. Thank you in advance for your help! All the best,Adam
Hi All,I have a (n00by) question regarding GMT (namely 16710) bracelets and the piece by the clasp (I honestly don't know what to call it) and why it can be seen on either side of the clasp mechanism. Is it an era-specific thing? Is it a left hand/right hand orientation thing? Or is there a 'correct' side? Can someone enlighten me? Photos below.
Stopped in my AD to look at the Air King. I did buy my Sub there within the last 2 weeks at 7% off.He still had a good selection but told me to wait as he's starting to get low and could discount when he's replenished . They did have Subs a Deep Sea, BLRO and Bluesey. I guess I'll wait, it's not like I have to have it today.Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
