It's a lovely watch - recognize that the dial being rosetone #'s on a black dial may be difficult for some people to read. My watch arrived - the main stem will not screw down and the watch doesn't work. Very dissappointing.

Help me value this 16613 Slate Serti
I've been offered a 16613 TT Blue with Slate Serti dial that appears nearly unworn. It's a very late F series with an AD receipt dated early 2006. It has the no-holes case. The watch has all boxes, papers, tags, etc. and the hologram is still on the back. Given the source of the watch, I'm certain it is genuine.What would be a fair price to pay and what might a "steal of a price" be? I'm fairly up on Sub pricing but, not very up on TT or Serti watches. Thanks.

watch running slow
If this has been asked, sorry. I searched and could not find a related post.My watch has a Swiss ETA movement and 650 is the recommended turns per day on a winder. However, over several days on the winder the watch runs slow. Should I set the winder to more turns? Is there a relationship between number of turns and fast or slow outcomes? TIA, Bill P.

Are these Valuable?
Hey everyone, I have three watches that I have had for years. I know a little about the Longines, but I don't know anything about the other two. I was wondering if someone here could help me find out how much these watches are worth. I don't have the slightest clue! Are they junk watches or are they fine time pieces? The Longines is a WWI trench watch and has an inscription on the back to a Major so and so (I don't recall his name). The Lord Elgin has 30 Jewels, is self-winding, has a one piece case and is 14kt gold. The GP is a Budweiser commemorative of some kind and is also self-winding with a one piece case. Any ideas?

Cost of Omega PO V Rolex Subs
Just wanted to get some thoughts on the cost of Omega Planet Ocean V Rolex Submariners! I have owned both and recently sold the Sub (2010 model) and kept the Planet Ocean = mainly due to small differences - better bracelet and easier to read.In the UK you can pick up a Planet Ocean for approx ?2300 and a Sub for around ?4000 almost double!The Planet Ocean has a 600 metre dive capacity and the Sub is 300 metre dive capacity, Co Axial for less servicing etc.,in most comparisons I read on the interent (opinion I know) the 2 watches are rated about the same.My question is - Is a Rolex Sub twice as good a Planet Ocean (as the price may suggest) or is there not much between them as I think. Is a Rolex Sub worth the extra money? and why?

i have found myself lately being drawn back tie and time again to the daytona tt 116523,,,, Now bearing in mind i have never lusted after a daytona before but always thought the platona was a beautiful piece,,,, i am aware the 116523 does not seem to be the most loved of the daytonas but with a champagne dial and batons it just looks lovely imho,,, Are there any particular reasons why this model is not loved like other daytonas? apart from being tt,,,,,,
