Hello everyone. I have not posted for a while, but now I am thinking about buying a 2535.80 GMT and I have some questions. For some reason, there are not too many posts about his model on WTF, and I am concerned about the lack of popularity. Is the lack of popularity due to anything specific such as Price, Quality, or Reliability? Before I pull the trigger, I want to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly. The only thing that I do not like about this model is the tiny crown. It is much smaller than the other Bond style versions, and difficult to grasp. Other than that it is very solid, heavy, and feels very comfortalbe on the wrist. Any comments from the forum are always valued and appreciated.Have a safe Holiday.

I recently purchased an all original (except for the buckle) 1937 18k Richmond and was very surprised at the deal that I got. I'm wondering why the market has become so soft for these vintage watches? It seems anything other than the rarest of vintage American made watches can be bought at rock bottom prices right now. Does anyone have any history on the Richmond? Or does anyone know where I might find an original 18k Hamilton buckle for the watch? Thanks!
