I wondered if anyone knows what the proper setting on a winder is for a speedy. Looking around I found reference to 700-800 clockwise only. Thanks for any ideas.Mike
Haven't seen this specific Nautilus in the flesh, but the pictures alone make me sad. I must say that I do have a preference towards the clean dials on the Nautilus design, over complications. I like the dressier Pateks with complications. This specific blue dial, with the rose gold, and on leather strap, is just out of this world.I should be receiving my Patek 5711 blue dial in a few weeks. I have handled it many times and I absolutely love it. It is the perfect everyday Nautilus for me as it is SS, extremely versatile with casual to formal, the WR is high, the dial is just so beautiful, it has the beautiful bracelet, and not to mention it fits my budget.I don't know if I could justify this 5711R as my one and only even if it did fit the budget, as I love a Nautilus on a bracelet. I honestly wouldn't hesitate to buy it as my second if I had the budget; unfortunately not the case.Do any of our members on here own this beautiful reference?
Hey everyone! Just purchased my first Rolex a few days ago from a local jeweler who was great to deal with. This is (I believe) a 1999 Sea Dweller, I'm dating it based on the fact that it has the Swiss only dial, that I have come to understand was only produced for one year when Rolex was changing the material the dial was made of. No papers or boxes included, but I did get an appraisal and have the serial documented. I saw it and fell in love, priced at $5,500 it seemed like a fairly decent deal and was on the lower end of pricing compared to what I had seen on eBay. Now, without any further ado, here is my (new to me) Sea Dweller:
Where is the best place here to put the word out about my SS Daytona white dial missing for a week?
