My latest acquisition...
Well, I responded to the poll about planning another Hamilton purchase and responded that I had just bought three vintage models in the last week and wasn't planning to. So I get home and check out the auction place and someone just HAD to list something I wanted - a fairly rare electric 1958 Converta II with a Buy it Now. Stainless steel case with a 14K solid gold bezel. 35mm diameter (a perfect size IMO), 45mm over the lugs, & 20mm strap width. Recently serviced and nearly new condition. The only thing it lacks is the cool bracelet (last photo). Maybe Hamilton Electric can offer some additional info about this scarce model.Note the second handauction listing photo

What Is This Admiral?
Does anyone know anything about this Longines Admiral model? I know the movement is a L636 (CALIBRE ETA 2836-2). The serial number on the caseback of this one is 26425114. What I'm trying to find out is the approximate year of manufacture. I just haven't been able to find a full description of this model. Photos posted here with seller's permission:

Hi. I'm new to this site. I saw the German watches forum and thought it would be a good place to ask about a Nomos watch I'm interested in buying. I am in the U.S. and I've done an exhaustive search online for Nomos watches, only to see prices (for the same model, a small Tetra) vary wildly, especially in U.S. dollars. Can anyone enlighten me on a better way to search for this? Any help here or in a PM would be very welcome, thank you.Looks like a great board here! I've seen some absolutely beautiful watch pictures so far.
