- This was a great purchase for the price and looks much better in person, so that was a great surprise. And it was a gift, so he'll think I spent much more than I actually did! Great watch!

Does an open or closed loop 6 and 9 in the date window give any indication of age or is it random? Thanks.

I see this watch, listed as Swiss Made with a 2824 movement I believe. I know Rotary is a good company especially in the UK.My question is, is this an authentic SWISS MADE and SWISS MOVEMENT watch like ShopNBC says? Should I worry buying from them? They give a 5 year warranty thru Swiss International. Has anyone bought from ShopNBC? $499 for the watch is not chump change. Thanks
Hello,Not been in here before...more of a Rolex person.I have a pal who is wanting to sell one of his 2 Omegas. The first option is his solid gold Seamaster (would it be 14k or 18k?, we wonder), a vintage piece bought circa late 60's, early 70's. The other is a bimetal Constellation, bought in the mid 90's. The older piece has no original box or papers, but a valuation from an Omega dealer when it was servcied 2 years ago. It sees little daily use. The Constellation is a daily user with original box and also a valuation from the same place.I will be able to put up pictures early next week. Just asking the Omegaisti their views on which one would command a better value, which one would you keep, etc.He is planning to sell one of them and I will try to help him in the FS section. he is a professional man of excellent standing, btw, I can vouch for him.Thanks,Michael.
